Good morning,

What kind of puller are you using? Can you post a picture for me to see the puller?

That's not the correct puller.

The puller you need has two bolts that bolt to the steering wheel itself and then when you tighten the threaded bolt in the center, it will pop up.

My steering wheel has open slots. i wished it had bolt holes. I used the jaws and when i tightened either one real tight the claws would dig into the inside of the holes.this wheel is stuck.

Okay, when you get the puller tight on the wheel, take a hammer and hit the center bolt and see if it shocks it free and up. Sometimes it needs a little extra pull.

Someone really cranked down on that nut. It is not supposed to be that tight.

Leave the puller on there for a while and see if it loosens itself over time. You may have to tighten the center bolt a couple of times.

Some heat possibly on the where it meets the shaft. I would not use a torch but a hair dryer or heat gun could work. Try heating to expand the aluminum enough to pop.

Good morning Roy. The only thing is now i have to replace the round plastic disc that the horn wire goes in. I need the right steering wheel pressure plate removal tool for my car. Do you know what it looks like and can you send me a picture? Thanks again.

It works well. It depresses it enough to get the snap ring out of the groove.

My only concern is there a particular tool too take off ring. This ring doesn't have the two holes like the one holding the clock-spring. This ring is almost like the letter o but has a slight gap.

You will need 2 pocket screw drivers to pry the ring up and out. Just a little tight. No tool for that removal.

Good morning Roy. Got my steering wheel issue taking care of. I really appreciate your help.

Now my car is over heating. I saw a YouTube video where this guy said he replaced everything but it still didn't help. But he bleed the air out of the coolant. I did that to mine. Had a lot of air in mine. I still don't know if that was good enough. Because, I thought when the car reached a certain temp my electric fans would cut on. Is that true? They cut on when i cut the A/C on. So i know they work that way.

I replaced the thermostat and coolant sending unit. It seems worse. The temperature goes up too about 210-215 with the new thermostat. The thermostat is a 180 degree one that i bought and put in. My book said check the water pump by moving it up and down and side to side. Seems okay. Water doesn't leak out the weep hole.

Some videos said the head gaskets might be why. If that is true. Wouldn't i have coolant and oil mixed. The system has pressure. I just don't know from here. Your thoughts?

Site rules ask you to start a new question for a different issue.

I would be glad to help you with that issue but please start a new question.
