Steering thump/clunking suspension

When turning left with the wheels at full lock the right front thumps exceptionally loud. I noticed something out of place (see picture below) when doing a minor inspection of the vehicle. The rear wheels also feel off balance, as the entire rear end hops at speeds of twenty five to forty mph while coasting.
