Steering pump there is a puddle of fluid on the ground?

The vehicle listed above had the steering pump replaced, but now there's a puddle of fluid on the ground following the replacement. I can fill the reservoir with fluid before starting the engine, but it bubbles when I turn the wheel while idling. There were no leaks prior to the pump replacement. The steering pump was replaced because it was difficult to turn and made noise while turning.

It sounds like the seal was damaged at the high-pressure line, or the new pump is defective. Either way the job will need to come back apart. New copper sealing washers must be used to help with leaks. Do you know if it is a new or rebuilt pump, I like to use new pumps just for this reason. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
