I replaced my gearbox because it was leaking. After install I turned the wheel back and forth to bleed the air out, it was working fine . After i drove it ,the steering was hard to turn. should I empty it and bleed it or what do you think I should do?

Good afternoon.

I would start by flushing the system with about one gallon of fluid. then bleed it again and see if it works.

If it remains the same it may be the pump that is the issue.
