Steering column swap

2008 CHEVROLET SILVERADO
195,000 MILES • 5.3L • V8 • 4WD • AUTOMATIC

I have the truck listed above 1500. I would like to switch my column it has cruise control on it the other column is from a 2007-2009 Malibu it has cruise control on it also. will it work?

They are two different columns. I don't recommend trying to switch them. Is there something wrong with yours?

The Malibu one has cruise control and phone and other stuff on it. mine just has cruise control.

What car or truck column will fit and what years?

I only recommend one from the same year, make, and model. As far as the additional features the other column has, your truck isn't set up for those things. Unfortunately, it isn't something you can plug in and have work.

What specifically are you looking to add? Newer vehicles are designed with specific modules and controllers that can't just be upgraded to add more accessories.
