Steering not working properly

2000 CHEVROLET SILVERADO

I am having trouble with my steering. I’ve change the gearbox, the power steering pump, new belt idler arm and Pitman arm and the steering is still stiff, what could be the problem?

If you jack the front of truck up and start it, do you have power steering?

Make sure the ball joints are not locking up causing hard steering.

What kind of pump did you use? GM had tons of issues with there pumps breaking the input shafts resulting in no assist.
