When I first start the car and have to turn the steering wheel it is so very hard to turn. And As I am driving down the road there is a noise, like a different kind of humming. I'll move the steering back and forth and make that humming sound. When I got the car, recently, the power steering fluid was over filled. So took some out and brought it to the correct level. And on the dash says service engine soon. I'm wondering if the power steering box is going out?

It sounds like the power steering rack has gone out but to be sure let's remove the lid to the power steering pump and start the engine, use a flashlight to look inside to see if the fluid is whirling around if so the rack has gone bad and need to be replaced. Here is how the job is done, you will need to get a wheel alignment once completed. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.
