Intermittent not starting issue?

I'm a girl and have no clue about cars...for the past few years my vehicle has not been starting at somewhat regular intervals. You try to start and it's like everything's not working. You may have to try starting 10-15 times and, to date, it always has started eventually but I know that won't always be the case. Any suggestions as to what this problem might be?? Hi Dawn,

It sounds like the battery is bad or you have battery cables that need to be cleaned or tightened. If you can upload a short video of the problem, I can tell for sure what's going on.
