Hi there, the car runs and drives, but then cuts out and you have to wait a while for it to restart. I have had diagnostic test done and I computer connected saying thermostat problem. Then the car will cut out and the computer will not connect to the car. I have had the thermostat changed. I am now being told by two different mechanics it is the ECU. Please help. I have a special needs child who I am unable to get to school.

Yes I think it is the computer as well. Try to get a used one this will save money. It may need to be programmed you may get away with not having to.

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken

It will be in the air intake system, it may be part of the MAF sensor or installed in the manifold itself.
Would it be possible to post pictures here of the sensor and the engine intake? Looking at the engines online there are a number of variations shown.
