Truck has some trouble starting with jumping. I got it to start and ran for about five minutes. After stopping, then trying to restart, no power. I then jumped it again, but it shut off immediately. I tried this several times with the same result.
Battery is one month old. Ignition switch one year old. Fuel pump one year old.

I also have white smoke from tailpipe. I believe I wiped oil from the tip of tailpipe. But I also have a carbon build up issue. Not sure which is the problem.

At least provide an answer to the starting problem.

Thanks!

Okay. Sounds like we need to start with the worst case and rule that out before we move onto a possible electrical issue.

So, the worst case is we have a head gasket issue.

Here is a guide that will confirm this for us:

Also, while we are doing this, we should test compression because that will help confirm a head gasket issue.

Please run through this info first and then we can go from there once we confirm this is not the issue. However, the next step is to pull the plugs and get some pictures of them to see what they look like.

Thanks
