It ran okay, but over the winter mice got at it. It would start great, but when it reached 2000 rpm's it would quit running. Dealer found broken wires etc and fix that part. Now they cannot get it to run over 3000 rpm's. Any suggestions?

Check intake manifold vacuum at idle if 15" or below check for a blocked exhaust. If fuel injected check fuel pressure with a gauge.

Yes those engine have an actuator that opens additional ports for the intake, please check the vacuum lines leading to these actuators and get back to me, also check the linkage.

Best, Ken
