Starts missing and then will not start?

I put this engine in and it had 117k miles on it now it has 125k I replaced plugs wires cap rotor fuel filter. What it started doing was missing and then stop and do it again and I would shut it off and try to start it later and no go. Had it hauled in to the shop said plugs were bad. Hum how could that be just put them in ok put new ones in and it did it again at this point I am at a loss HELP!

For codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge auto parts rent it. Shod be 60-66 psi

Yep, I agree with HMAC300, it sounds like the fuel pressure is low because the fuel pump is going out which is common for these trucks. Please go over this guide which shows out how to check the pressure and I have included how to change the pump out in the images below as well.
