To add to my below question, I replaced fuel filter and fuel pump recently, and didn't help. Also, I tightened vacuum hoses to eliminate an idle surging problem. What is most common cause for the hard start/stalling problem on this make/model/year? Dirty throttle body? Fuel injectors? Bad sensor? Thx!

The car starts with difficulty, and engine stalls unless I apply gas. Problem is for the past several weeks. No engine or other warning lights.

Yes, this can be caused by a dirty throttle body, weak fuel pump, (you replaced that so you are good) or low compression. Also, have you replaced or checked the spark plugs? IF they are worn or fouled it will cause this. Here is a guide to help you service the throttle body, please read it completely before beginning.

When checking the spark plug I would do a compression test, you can rent the gauge set from Autozone for free, they have a great store. Here is the guide and again read it completely before beginning.

Thx much! I was gonna ask if the Idle Air Control Valve is often the culprit on this make/model?

I wrote you earlier about the starting/stalling problem on my Toyota Camry. This time I would to know if you think replacing the Ignition Coils would solve the problem, and is this an easy job? (When should coils be replaced generally?) I may've said earlier that I've recently replaced plugs, wires, fuel filter, fuel pump. Thx!

To add to my above comment about Toyota Camry, I have unplugged MAP sensor and still no start. Also, I've swapped out fuel pump relay with identical relay (horn) and nothing doing. Thx!
