shifting into any gear it is like I turned the vehicle off?

Starts great but as soon as I try shifting into any gear it is like I turned the vehicle off and then takes few 5-10 minutes before starts again.

Hmm, so it runs fine in park and neutral, correct? If so, the torque converter control solenoid could be bad and stuck on or the torque converter itself has come apart internally and is not allow the engine to "freewheel". I can tell for sure if you upload a quick video of the car having the issue. Here is the location of the TCC solenoid which is included inside the valve body control. You may want to try to run the codes as well, this guide can help:
