Hi,
Based on your description, it sounds like the fuel pump may be failing. With that in mind, I would start by checking the fuel pump pressure. You will need a fuel pressure gauge for this, but most parts stores will lend one to you.

If you look below, I attached the manufacturer's fuel pressure specifications for this vehicle.
