No starter

My vehicle is becoming on but cranking while it is on "on" and would not start the engine. the lights on the dashboard also are not lighting.

How do i fix this?

I need to better understand. The lights on the dash are not turning on? However, the starter cranks the engine but the engine doesn't start. Is that correct?

If it is, have you checked for any blown fuses under the hood? Start there and let me know what you find.
