Starting the car

Delay after the first or sometimes second key turn to start the engine. All the dash lights will come on. Maybe after the third try it will come on.

If the starter is failing to engage and you hear a click from it, suspect a bad starter. If that is not the case, I need more information to guide you. Not sure what will not come on, the engine or the dash lights?
