The car starts up fine but if I go restart it, it cranks for about 6 seconds then starts up. No lights on dash. I thought maybe the fuel pump was bad, so I replaced the fuel pump, but the problem is still there. I did a tune up as well. (Spark plugs and air filter)

Hi,

When it does eventually start, have you ever noticed a strong exhaust odor or see any gray or black smoke from the exhaust? What you described sounds like there could be an issue with fuel pressure or you may have an injector leaking or an issue at the fuel pump module.

If you look below, I attached diagnostics for checking both the module and the injectors. Take a look through them and let me know if you are comfortable performing them.

Let me know.

Joe

Hi,

Thanks for the update. I had a feeling it had something to do with fuel pressure. Regardless, I'm glad to know you got it fixed.

Take care and feel free to come back anytime in the future.
