Intermittent starting problems

Sometimes car does not engage engine when key is turned on and foot brake is held down other times starts straight away.

Hello,

When the starter does not engage what exactly does your do? Is there a click" Is the nothing at all? Or, is the a whining spinning sound?

When key is turned there is nothing. just like when you try to start the car when it is in gear. everything thing lights up but nothing else. thanks

The car is now starting as normal, but when it didn't the brake pedal did not depress slightly as it does when starting normally. also the car is a aigo mmt. thanks again .

I am thinking there may be an issue with the brake booster. If these bleed down the pedal gets very hard to press. Glad it it working correctly at the moment. If you have further issues. Please come back to 2CarPros. Thanks
