Intermittent not starting issue

Hi,

When it doesn't start, does the starter engage and turn the engine and the engine just not start? Or does the starter not engage at all?

It sounds like it is trying to start but just can’t get over that last bit. mechanic plugged it into diagnostics and said it found nothing wrong?

If there is no code, then we need to start simple. I need you to check both for spark and fuel to the engine. Simply see if the engine starts for a couple of seconds using starting fluid. If it does and then stalls, we know it's a fuel related issue. If nothing changes, then it's likely ignition related.
