Intermittent not starting issue?

Go out and try to start, start right up, turn it off and will not restart, wait 5 minutes and it starts. Hit and miss on the starting. Battery good, connections good. What can it be?

When you say it will not start, do you mean the engine will crank over and not run or, the engine is not cranking over (starter operation)? This guide can help us get started on fixing the problem:
