Starting problem

My car won't start, I had snapped my terminals off the battery and I think they touched im not sure but since then it wont start. I had the wires replaced my battery seemed ok before this so I didnt replace it. Now nothings going in the engine bay, no fans no stereo. I turn the key to on and the lights come on but I hear clicking from the engine. I turn the key to ignition and nothing, still the same click from the on position.
