Starting problem

My vehicle starts okay in the morning after that takes longer to start. You have to keep acceleration pedal down and after a few swings while key kept in starting position it gets going.

Do you get any black smoke when it starts? Sounds like you could have a bad coolant temperature sensor.

The caddy starts better but still have to keep accelrater pedal down and starts on second swing

Tried new coolant sensor starts better but after two swings with accelerator placed flat down and swing for a little

It has a two pin on one side and clips on the otherside it is near the water theremostat housing just used a screw driver to take out clip and unplug lug and then clip back on and place wire lug back 5mins

Is this a Diesel or Gasoline engine?I don't have any repair information on non USA model cars.
