A couple of years ago I had a motor built, 1hz , I've up graded to a turbo, ceramic top pistons, with Teflon skirts, the motor is brand new, and I've only done a 100 km in it, haven't even run it in yet, and it hasn't been started for over a year, my question is, is there anything I should do to it before starting it up again,
Thank you, Robert

I would use a breaker bar on the front of the engine and just turn it by hand, then disable the ignition system and allow the starter to turn the engine to build oil pressure before you start it. You should be okay after that, Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.
