I am currently having an issue where the engine management light is on and if I try to start the car all I get is clicking and then an alarm if I continue to get it to fire.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.com.

If you hear a clicking when you turn the key, that usually indicates a weak battery. Take a look at this link. It describes symptoms of a weak or dead battery.

Next, look at this link. It shows how to load test the battery.

Another link that could be relevant for you deals with battery terminals. Make sure they are clean, the cables are tight, and there is no evidence of damage done to the wires.

Start with this and let me know what you find. If you have other questions or need help with something, let me know.

Take care,
Joe
