When trying to start the car it would make a Rapid clicking noise and not even turn over the engine?

I have replaced the battery with a brand new one. Every once in a great while when it starts up and I drive it, it will stall on me usually when slowing down and sometimes misfires.

I would start by checking the ground to frame/chassis connection from the battery, you must have two grounds one to the block and the other to the chassis. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so I can hear the noise? That way I can tell for sure what's going on. Please start a new question for the misfire and stalling, let me know what happens.

This sounds like the flex plate is broken and the starter is just spinning it without cranking the engine, or the starter is bad. I would remove the starter and then use a large prybar to see if you can move the flex plate without the engine turning. Thanks for the video, it helps. Please let me know what you find. Happy new year!

We were able to take the starter out and find it was indeed broken with no fault to the flex plate. The alternator then went out, so we got a new one put in. Then the car wouldn't start on me again when I was out shopping and turns out I bought a refurbished starter, and it died one me, so I bought a completely new one and the car has been running great ever since. Thank you!
