Hi,

Does this happen regardless of engine temperature, or does it seem to only happen when it's cold? Also, you indicated replacing the fuel pump. Have you confirmed fuel pressure is within the manufacturer's specifications?

Also, when it starts, do you ever notice any odd odors or smoke from the exhaust?

Let me know.

Randomly. Pressure good. Did not notice anything from exhaust. But there's a little pop when it doesn't start.

Hi,

This is a tough one to call at this point. Since it does start on the second try, I'm not sure what to specifically focus on. Is there ever a time that it takes an extended amount of time to start? Also, does this only happen on cold starts? Let me know where you hear the pop. Does it sound like a backfire, and does it seem to come from the engine area or the exhaust?

Let me know.
