car did not start, tapped on battery terminals, car started. car will not start, no sound no nothing, the tapping trick does not work now.

Hi,
It sounds like the connection to the battery is bad. Because the starter is the heaviest load the battery gets, a poor connection can cause this to happen.
The terminals must be both tight and clean. Take a look through this link. It explains how to fix issues with connections at the battery.
