So when I go to start the car usually after I just drove or stopped and turned the car off when I go to start it again it won't turn over and if I hit the gas pedal when I'm starting it then it'll fire up. Becoming a nuisance. I was thinking maybe I have carbon build up. But not sure how to find it or where to locate the problem since I know it's not the battery or starter because I've recently replaced those components. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.

Hello,

Many times dirty components can give you starting issues. Like if you have a dirty mass air flow sensor. It can also be the distributor.

The mass air flow sensor can be cleaned. As well as the throttle body.
These items should be cleaned while performing tune up.

Is your check engine light on?
If there is an issue with a sensor, it can trigger the engine light.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.

See if you can follow this tune up procedure. It covers cleaning out the mas airflow sensor along with few other components.
