I have changed the starter, the solenoid and the key switch and the battery. All it does is click once. What else could keep the starter from cranking? I don't know what else to check to make the starter to crank.

I have turned the motor by hand so it is not frozen up. What else should I try?

A weak ground could possibly cause this. Attach a jumper cable from the engine block to a clean part of the frame and then retry. Also bad connections at the battery, especially if the aftermarket bolt on terminals have been installed. Also verify that the engine is not locked down ( if you haven't done this anyways).

It was starting click of the switch drove half of a block tried to start 30 minutes later it just clicks once. Put new starter on still only clicks. Put new solenoid on still only clicks, put new key switch in still just click, s put new battery on still just a click. Tried running jumper wire still just a click. Don't know what to try next. I am stumped.

Could it be the ignition switch itself?

What you can do is verify the actual voltage that you are getting at the solenoid and if this voltage is low trace back to the switch or overlay the circuit with your own wire from the switch to the solenoid. Also check the voltage at the starter when you crank it with a voltmeter, you may have a voltage drop.

Very possible the starter is bad out of the box. Happens a lot these days. However it almost sounds like you may have a bad battery cable. What happens if you use jumper cables to bypass the vehicles wiring, Battery negative to the starter mount bolt and battery positive directly to the starter motor? Have seen a few cables that corroded internally, outside they looked fin, inside they were green and rotted off.

Yes! New doesn't mean good these days! As Steve and I stated. It sounds like a battery cable issue.
