Starter replacement?

Good day, I am in the process of replacing the starter on a 2003 Suzuki Aerio SX 2.0L and in your article it shows a starter plate in the diagram. I have looked left, right, up, and down and can’t find this part anywhere on the web. Do you by chance no the part number or suzuki name for it?

This is called a starter spacer plate (#5 in the image below). This part might be hard to find you may be better off trying to make it or call wrecking yards but they like to see the entire engine. Here is an image for it but I dont have the part # unfortunately. Sorry I was not more help. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.

Thanks Ken, I went to 2 junkyards today and nothing. Making sounds like the way go but how thick is this spacer supposed to be?

It is hard to say but I would think it is 1/16th of an inch (1.5875).
