Starter replacement car would not accelerate?

After starter was replaced the car would not accelerate , make a hard shift from park to drive and getting VSA error on dashboard. What could be the problem ?

Yep, it sounds like the person that change the starter out has left some wiring off of the engine while doing the job. I would recheck the battery to engine ground and then the ground from the engine to the chassis. Make sure the battery is in good shape. It sounds like the VSS was disconnected but not reconnected, here is the location so you can check it out. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes
