Starter removal?

Hello, I hope your smart gentleman can help me out. I read your answers on the car listed above, how to replace the starter. The only problem is my starter bolts are different on my 2004 the bottom one that is easy to get to and going straight up into the block and I don't know where the other side is I thought I did but I must have taken a bolt that wasn't right. please help

Hi,

The bolts that hold the starter motor should be horizontal. Are you saying the ones on your vehicle are vertical? Is this the 4-cylinder engine?

Do me a favor. Take a look at the directions I attached below. These should be specific to your vehicle. If you have something different, could you take a couple of pictures of what you have and upload them for me?
