Okay, so I removed the bolts that hold it in place but it still won't budge and remove. What am I doing wrong?

Hello, I'm Danny,

Here is a tutorial showing how to remove a starter:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-replace-a-starter-motor

I've attached a picture below of your vehicles starter. It looks like only held in with 2 bolts. You might need a screwdriver or pry bar to wedge it loose.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Okay, did everything in the tutorial car started up fine, but now it's taking awhile to start up. Is there anything else besides the starter that will cause this problem?

Welcome back:

When you say it is taking longer to start, can you explain what is happening? For example, is there a delay before the starter engages or does it seem to crank longer?

Let us know.

Joe
