Thank you but that is the starter solenoid, I need to know where the starter relay is located somewhere under the dash, I can't seem to locate it. There is a solenoid and a relay in a 1983 Thunderbird, I bought a new relay just can't find where it's located.

Good afternoon,
That is the relay. There is no other relay in the circuit for the starter. I attached a wiring diagram for you to view and the solenoid on the firewall is the relay.

Hello again.
As I posted earlier and my co-worker Roy added the only starter relay-solenoid for your car is mounted on the inner fender-well which I've attached in my previous post. You will not find any type of relay under the dash. Let us know if you have any further questions about this issue. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

This is what I bought. I'm looking to find this part on the car, thought this was a starter relay?

No, you do not have that relay in your car. The only relay is the one we posted.
That relay is either the power relay or the fuel pump relay.
