I have the car listed above S model, four door, five speed. The factory radio harness was cut and now the car will not start. It turns over but will not start and continues to crank on its own. All the controls work.

Welcome to Fords data bus system. Cutting the "radio" harness in many newer vehicles also cuts the data lines which look for all of the correct modules in the vehicle in order for the engine to run. In this case the radio in that vehicle does more than just make noise. It is part of the vehicles control network and anti-theft system. About the only way to repair it will be to repair the radio harness, then have the ACM (audio control module) reprogrammed into the system by a dealer. They can also check the data lines to see if there was any other damage done when the harness was cut, such as sending battery voltage into the PCM, dash or BCM. If voltage went the wrong way it could have easily damaged one or more components in the system.
