When trying to start it just clicks and will not start

Bought new starter and brand new battery. Every time I try to turn it over it just clicks and wont start. I have been at this for almost a week now and do not know what to do.

Hi,

If you are getting a click, you know the battery and starter are good, either you have a bad connection at the battery, starter, ground at the engine block, or there is an internal engine issue that is stopping the engine from turning.

What were the original symptoms? Also, are you able to turn the engine by hand which would indicate it isn't locked up?
