The starter was not fully engaging (spinning out when you turn the key)
I replaced the starter (brand new one) I just got in the car a week after replacement and it did it again.
It does not do it every time; even before I replaced the started.
Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.

Does it make any noise when it does not fully engage?

What brand starter did you use?

Is that starter brand new oem, rebuilt, re-manufactured. Some rebuilds do not last, Is there a mechanical issue inside of engine putting strain on starter? Is battery fully charged 12.4-12.8 volts?

Hi guys. My guess is worn teeth on one spot on the ring gear. Engines commonly coast to a stop in the same place making that the place where the drive gear engages most often.
