Van will not start. No juice at all -power has no noise when key is turned over. What side is the starter on this van?

I would start by testing the battery for voltage, then the battery cables. Corrosion is a real bear at times and it doesn't take much to kill the power into the vehicle.
Next try moving the shift lever to neutral, if the van starts now you have a bad inhibitor relay.

The starter would be on the radiator side of the engine at the transmission flange.
