Hello from MN
Put key in ignition and turn to start, didn't, then turn off and start again, then it starts. Ran/drove like that for several days, then when tried to start recently the engine light came on and says service engine soon. Been parked as we have been dealing with a emergency with misses, who had another MS attack, we are both disabled. MY question is this. is there a fuel pressure regulator apart from the fuel assembly inside the fuel tank, that could be replaced before doing the fuel tank drain and disassemble thing which I am just not able to do physically. I have a guy I trust close by, I just need to know what exactly I need to have done. BTW, I have no problem paying a fee to get straight talk on what I am up against. TY Jerry and Diane, Zimmerman MN

The fuel pressure regulator is located on the fuel rail under the hood. Before replacing anything, however, I recommend checking two things. First, check fuel pump pressure to see if it is within the manufacturer's specs. Also, scan the computer to see why the check engine light has come on. Do both and let me know what you find.
