Greetings.
I changed the aux battery. Restored the remote start. The instrument cluster icon circle/arrow around an A with ! Still shows. And the message “start/stop unavailable”

Is there a sequence to reset this?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

This is non hybrid? I would read and clear all codes to see what comes up, there is a battery monitor you may need to reset. This can be done by doing a CAN scan which is the future of car repair. you can get a CAN scanner from Amazon for about $50.00. here is a video to show you how:

Lets try a regular scan as well.

RESOLVER RELEARN
Position the vehicle on a hoist, and raise the vehicle until the front tires are approximately 30 cm (12 in.) from the ground. (Refer to 04 - Vehicle Quick Reference/Hoisting/Standard Procedure).
Connect the scan tool to the diagnostics connector.
Enter the vehicle and make sure the vehicle doors are closed to prevent the Automatic Shift to Park function from engaging during the test.
Switch off the Electronic Stability Control (ESC), if equipped.
Using the scan tool, perform the Resolver Relearn procedure by following the step-by-step instructions on the scan tool.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
