Lost all electrical power

Stopped at for 5 minutes get back in no power at all. won't start, no crank, no dashboard lights, nothing. just theft light is very dim. do you have a clue what's wrong or something I should try before I state buying parts?

Hello,

If you car was just fine before your stop and 5 minutes off then I would go right to the battery and pull off the terminals and give them a clean up and make sure they are nice and tight. I situation like that where everything was fine points to a connection right there. Also follow the main black ground cable where it connects to the block and make sure that it good as well.
If that all checks out and its still isn't getting power let me know.
