Intermittently shutting off when transmission is shifted into reverse

I put the car in reverse and it chokes and shuts off. sometimes it runs great like it is fixed and then it goes back to stalling only in reverse.

I have seen where the air intake tube is broken or loose which when in reverse the engine moves in such a way it will open an air gap in the tubing causing an air leak which fools the MAF sensor causing the engine to stall. Here are diagrams below to help show you what I am talking about. Check out the diagrams (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
