I started having trouble when I came to a stop light where my RPMs drop below 6 or 7 hundred and the vehicle starts to shake and will stall out. Runs fine at higher RPMs.

Hi,

In most cases, this is an issue related to an engine vacuum leak. There are other things such as the idle air control valve that can do it.

Start by checking for leaks.

Here is a link that explains how to check for a leak:

Try this first and let me know what you find.
