I am at my wits end with this car. If it wasn't the only car we have I would get rid of it but cannot afford to at this time.

The problem I have and been having is that the car stalls at an idle at times and also at times when under a load it will surge or buck. I have done the follow to no avail:

1. Replaced the fuel pump relay.
2. Replaced the TPS switch.
3. Replaced the IAC.
4. Replaced the distributor.
5. Replaced the fuel pump.
6. Cleaned the throttle body.

I have no engine light on. I do have a fuel filter but have not put that on yet but I do not think that is the problem. What do you think might be going on with this car?

Good afternoon,

My first thought is the EGR valve may be stuck partially opening creating a vacuum leak and making it stall.

I would check that valve and see if it is open.

I purchased one a while back when all these problems started and since it looks like a bear to replace I have put that on the side but will do that when I get a chance this coming weekend. Thanks
