Ran it out of gas now it will not stay running for more than five minutes

Ran it out of gas and now every time it has been ran for about five minutes it will stall and shut down. It will start back up after you get fuel back into the line and will die shortly after driving it again! Please help.

Install a fuel gauge and monitor your fuel pressure. If you see fuel pressure dropping off then you wil need to replace the fuel pump.
