Stalling and backfiring

Well I just got this car. I have not really ever messed around with the car model listed above ( LT). The car seamed like it was starving for gas. I could hold the gas down to the floor and it’ll just stay alive and it’s backfiring.

A backfire is usually the result of either a fuel delivery problem, ignition timing, engine vacuum leaks, or an internal engine problem.
