I drove my car this morning and it ran fine. I parked for about six to eight hours. I came out to pick wife up from work car started just fine. As I started to pull away the truck started hesitating as if no gas was going through the gas line. It then started running fine for a mile or two and started hesitating again. It did this for about six to eight miles. What could it be?

Good morning my name is Roy and I will assist.

When it does not start I would heck for spark and fuel. See which one is missing. If you have some starting fluid, try spraying some into the air filter and see if it starts and stalls. Chances are you may need a fuel pump or crank sensor.

It always starts. When I started it this morning it started okay, but was still hesitating like gas was not going through gas line. I then let it run for about ten minutes then I just shut it off because I do not want to take a chance driving it. Thank you Roy.

Okay, I would start by checking the fuel pressure. You may have a failing fuel pump.
