Hi,
If it started when you put fuel directly into the throttle body, chances are the fuel pump has failed. You could check the fuel pressure to confirm there is an issue.
Here is a link that explains how it's done:

Also, the fuse may have failed or the fuel pump relay. Check fuse 11 (ECM B fuse) in the under-hood fuse box. In addition to checking the fuse, confirm there is power to and from it.

If the is good, then remove the fuel pump relay and inspect the connectors. Make sure the pins on the relay as well as where it goes into the relay/fuse box for corrosion or damage. If they are good, switch that relay with a different one in the box having the same part number. If there isn't one, here is a link that explains how to test a relay:

Try these things and let me know what you find or if you have questions. Also, pay attention to if the fuel pump is heard when you first turn the key on. If you hear it, skip the electrical checks and focus on testing fuel pressure.
You will need a fuel pressure gauge, but most parts stores will lend one to you.
Take care,
Joe
