Everytime I turn the Stabilitract lights would turn off. Now I went down a bumpy road and the ABS light and Stabilitract lights are always on. Where do I start or what should I look for? I think one of the intermediate front axle needs to be replaced. Could this be causing the issue? I can go to AutoZone and get a OdbII reader and go from there.

It sounds like you have a bad bearing hub or a wheel speed sensor, it is best to get a scan done to see which wheel is having the issue, also does the car make a humming noise while driving? This is a sign a bearing hub is going bad. Here is a guide so you can see what needs to be done:

The sensor is inside the bearing hub FYI, here is how to change it out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Would an ODBII scanner be sufficient or would I need a better scanner?

You need a scanner that can do ABS systems. They are cheap on Amazon. $69.00
